Obituary of Kathleen "Kay" Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Kathleen 'Kay' peacefully with family by her side at Golden Dawn Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.  Kay Mansfield (nee Tompkins) of Lion's Head in her 98th year.  Beloved wife of the late Reverend Robert Stanley 'Bob' Mansfield.  Cherished mother of Father Robert and his wife Joyce of Parry Sound, David and his wife Maxine of Nova Scotia, Michael and his wife Barbara of Georgetown, James and his wife Joan of Oshawa and Marc and his wife Sharon of Courtice.  Much loved grandmother of Rob (Jen), Faith (Jim), Geoff (Karen), Elaine (Jay), Sarah, Rachel, Paul (Samantha), Ryan (Rosanne), Timothy (Jackie), Michael (Lori), Andrew (Jessie), Ashley, Zachary, Daniel (Erin), Rebecca and Thomas (Karla) and great grandmother of 29.  Dear sister of Ruth Tompkins of Lion's Head and Enid Runnalls of London.  Predeceased by parents Irene (nee James) and Harry Tompkins, brother Harry, sisters Muriel Tompkins, Edith Tompkins and Irene in infancy and brother-in-law Donald Runnalls.

Family and friends are invited to share memories at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.  The funeral service will be conducted at Christ Church Anglican, Lion's Head on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.  Interment Eastnor Cemetery.  Expressions of remembrance to Lion's Head Hospital c/o Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation or Christ Church Anglican, Lion's Head would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
