Obituary of Edith Wipp

WIPP, Edithof Tobermory passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 6th, 2007 in her 58th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Bill for 41 years. Cherished mother of Colleen Trepanier of Thamesford, Rosemary (Brian) Brown of Sarnia, Cory Wipp of Tobermory, Ken (Tracy) Wipp of Ayton and David (pre 1981). She was a special grandma to 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her step-mother Helen Hooey (Paul Fromager) of Cobourg, brothers and sisters James Hooey of Cobourg, Orville Hooey of Cobourg, Theresa (Pierre) Cadueix of Manitoulin Island, Cindy (Paul) Armstrong of Campbellford, Debbie (Ralph) Sovie of Cobourg and Cathy (John) Haggerty of Cobourg as well as many nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by her parents Doreen (Lampkin) and Beverley Hooey.The family will receive friends at the Light & Life Chapel, 7347 Highway 6, Tobermory on Friday, March 9, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Edith's life will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Clubine officiating. Spring interment Dunk's Bay Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
